Christ Church is a beautiful building consecrated in 1848
The Church is available for hire for concerts and rehearsals as well as funerals and weddings
Once you book the church you will have access to the fellowship room as well as the main kitchen, and you will also have access to our garden
Acoustically renowned there have been many successful events held over the years
The space can accommodate up to 200 sitting and benefits from direct access via the glass doors by the Clocktower which can be made accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs
Rates are £70 for rehearsal and £90 for a concert per hour - minimum booking 3 hours

We hired the Tyler Basset room for my daughters bday party. It's a beautiful room filled with natural light and very warm.
The tables and chairs are easy to set up and the tea station has the basic equipment needed to wash up.

Morning all, We did not have the Taylor-Bassett Room we actually booked the Fellowship Room which we do have confirming emails of this, we had the Fellowship Room booked, so at first there was a bit of a mix up which was quickly sorted. The Fellowship Room was very well Suited to our needs. We were very pleased with the space and facilities and would definitely not hesitate book the Fellowship Room again for future events as a great time was had by all.

The process is very easy and quick. It is clear what booking options are available (times, dates etc), the confirmation from the space itself came quickly and the scheduled reminders are very helpful as they contain a lot of the information one will need, on the day.
Furthermore, the space was very clean, all equipment was ready and available as described and the facilities [kitchenette, bathrooms etc] helpful and easily accessible. Would highly recommend!
