Lined with imported beautiful stone, our stunny Sanctuary is the heart of our synagogue around which the rest of the building is designed. 850 people can be seated over two levels to face the raised central podium known as the bimah
Whilst the Sanctuary is the LJS's prayer hall on Shabbat Friday nights and Saturday mornings, it has also been the venue for concerts, hustings, lectures and performances.
Featuring specialist lighting and sound systems, it is an ideal venue for large capacity events.

- Cancellations made over 2 weeks in advance of the hire date will receive a full refund
- Bookings made within 2 weeks of the hire date will have a 48 hour grace period from the time of booking to cancel and receive a full refund
- All other cancellations will receive no refund
